All of the artwork and most of the jewelry displayed at The Chakra House is created by local artists. Below are the biographies of all of these local artists.
Bettina Madini

Born in Berlin, Germany, Bettina is a visionary artist and colorist, and a vocalist. She started her art education in Europe and continued her extensive art studies in New York City at the National Academy of Fine Arts after having changed her life entirely and moved to the US in 2003 to be a "full-time" artist. In 2004, she moved on to Wisconsin where she has been emerging herself into her creativity within nature's beauty ever since. She is involved with Woman Within a training program for women's empowerment, initiation and healing.
Jenny King

Art has been a constant companion since my childhood. I recognized early on I had a passion for creating art and I have been doing so for over 15 years. A prolific artist I have tried many forms, and I settled into painting and have been using acrylics and canvas for the past several years. I love bold, rich, bright color paints that shimmer and art that manifests beauty. In my art I explore the unseen, I reveal what I imagine to be, or a feeling that I can translate in color. My favorite place to dwell is within creativity and inspiration. Those are two tools I rely on to get a great idea from my imagination to the canvas. Transpiring a painting excites me, and I hope to achieve my goal as an artist, and that is to reveal beauty, invoke peace and inspire the heart. I find inspiration in love, scripture, and relationships and of course nature and the heavens. ~Jenny
Angela Johnson

Angela Johnson is an artist, museum educator, and teacher who looks to creativity, beauty, and learning in everything she does. Her artistic experiences are very much intertwined with her work and life. Photography is a media she has always been deeply connected with. Johnson is intrigued with how the use of line, color and light captured in a photograph can create a mood. Johnson earned her M.A. in Art Education at the University of Wisconsin-Madison in August 2008. Currently, she works at the Madison Children's Museum as the program coordinator, and enjoys immersing herself in community arts.

Iliamna, named after the Alaskan mountain, has been interested in the arts since childhood. She has explored many different mediums, and likes working with natural stones for their unique qualities. She has been selling her jewelry at art and craft shows around Wisconsin for six years. Each piece is created using quality materials such as Sterling Silver or Gold-Fill.
Julie's Crystal Realm

Julie was inspired in 2000 when she made her first chakra pendant to use in meditation. She started making pendants for friends and family, sharing her experience and knowledge regarding the energy centers. Her passion soon took on a life of its own. Julie now makes one of a kind healing jewelry, and designer jewelry with natural gemstones. Her interest in spiritual life has been a life-long endeavor. Included in her studies are healing with your Chakra systems, energy centers, the power of crystals and Feng Shui design - all of which relate to the art of healing and a desire for balance in one's life.
